Loudwater Labs is a funded startup with a big idea: we're changing how people in their twenties and thirties deal with their money.

We believe that handling your finances doesn't have to be dull, stressful or expensive. We hate the fact that get taken advantage of by Opportunistic Personal Finance intimidate our friends, famliy, and peers (all 40M of them) companies when it matters most-- when we're young and not yet wealthy or secure. In order to help people answer the question "What do I do with my money?", we're building a web application that shows you what's most important to pay attention to and what you can do about it.

As we bring our vision to reality, we encounter interesting and complicated problems to solve. We know that people in their twenties and thirties are aching for something that makes money simpler and we're bringing together incredibly talented and diverse people to bring their intelligence to bear. If we do it right, your work will have enormous impact and we'll disrupt an industry that operates through complexity, confusion, and fear.

Our idea is collecting steam. The early beta works, we're funded, and growing our team of engineers, designers, scientists, and financial experts. We're looking for rock star developers to take a hands on role with our engineering team. You will directly contribute to what we build and how we build it. More importantly, by coming on board early (#9), you get a seat at the table and a voice each aspect of our growth, from the way we build the product to the way we market it.

Senior Java Engineer

You're a self-motivated critical thinker who wants to be a part of a diverse team building an industry-disrupting product. You want to work on something that will be used by people you know and that will have a positive impact on their life. You will design, build, and deliver large-scale, highly dynamic website experiences in a team environment. You will own major deliverables and all aspects of the development cycle: scoping, design, implementation, testing, etc. You will get a chance to exercise your judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on business objectives, time lines and resource constraints.

Java Engineer

UI Engineer

We are looking for someone who enjoys building clean UIs that are stunning in their simplicity. If you strive to not overwhelm the user with information and process then we want to hear from you. This role will involve feature analysis, design, IA, and usability.

You will need to utilize your knowledge of OOP with JavaScript and AS2/AS3 to integrate flash with server side technologies.
